CHISHOLM PARK WETLANDS

Public BBQ

Chisholm Park Wetlands offers families a unique barbecue experience where outdoor dining meets natural conservation. The BBQ facilities sit alongside carefully preserved wetland environments, creating an unexpectedly serene backdrop for weekend gatherings. Children can spot native waterbirds between sausage flips, while parents appreciate the peaceful atmosphere away from typical suburban park crowds. The wetlands provide natural cooling and interesting wildlife viewing opportunities, making this more than just another BBQ stop. Facilities include standard electric barbecues and picnic tables positioned to take advantage of the tranquil water views. The combination of practical outdoor cooking amenities with genuine environmental interest makes this spot particularly appealing for families wanting something beyond the usual park experience. Perfect for those who enjoy their barbie with a side of nature education.
